INTRODUCTION :

Nippon Omni-Management Association (NOMA), formerly Nippon Office Management Association, was founded in 1949 as a non-profit membership organization under the accreditation of the former Ministry of International Trade and Industry in response to strong calls from business and other circles. NOMA's current name was adopted in 1971. During our 50-year history, NOMA has promoted a large variety of projects to rationalize and modernize office and information management and to train experts in these tasks, thereby contributing to the development of Japanese industry and society in general. In this period of great global transition and a future steeped in imponderables, individuals, organizations and nations all need to shape their own destinies and keep their identities pliable. Businesses are under growing pressure to focus on " creative management " to meet the demands of the times through maximum use of intellectual assets.
