INTRODUCTION : Shanghai International Exhibition Co Ltd (SIEC) is jointly invested by Shanghai World Expo (Group) Co., Ltd. and Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai. SIEC was founded on 1st July 1984 with the approval of the Ministry of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation and the People’s Government of Shanghai Municipality. The business scope of SIEC includes: organising and hosting international exhibitions in China; managing, contracting and leasing exhibition venue; arranging commercial conventions related to exhibitions; organising technical seminars and match-making business meetings during exhibitions; handling exhibits declaration to the Customs, bonded warehouse, freight forwarding, exhibit importation; colleting and distributing exhibition information, samples and technical data.
