INTRODUCTION : Japan Floral Marketing Association (JFMA) was initially established as a nonprofit organization in May 18, 2000. It underwent reorganization to become a limited liability intermediate corporation in January 2006. JFMA is open to all corporate and individual growers, traders, and retailers of flowers. As of September 2006, the association has 240 members from across the floral industry, including growers, seed and seedling companies, market wholesalers, intermediate wholesalers, mass merchandise retailers, florists and gardening specialty stores.
